The following boards provide a summary of the elements of the business plan which will be workshopped in December 2011 and January 2012.
These are the boards that form part of the public exhibition and explain the basics of the Development Framework. The exhibition is being held from the 5-9 December 2011 at Trafalgar High School.
The Draft Framework is a planning tool which forms part of the Package of Plans and structures development in District Six. This is currently available for public comment until 27 January 2012.

The first Draft Development Framework was produced by NM & Assocaites Planners and Designers and Lucien le Grange Architects and Urban Planners. It was taken to the level of public consultation but not adopted as a development plan.
The first Draft Contextual Framework was developed for District Six by the City of Cape Town in 2003.
This report produced by Lucien le Grange Architects and Urban Planners outlines the heritage aspects of District Six and provides broad guidelines for future development.
